Absolutely perfect paddle for positioning. I like to drift the ned rig quite alot in my atak. This paddle has made it a breeze to reposition and control my drift. Highly recommend!

This paddle is definitely a must if fishing along shorelines in freshwater lakes or rivers. I used it this past Father's Day where I had a couple of lure hang-ups on underwater logs near shore with low hanging branches and above water logs where the 230 cm paddle would be more hindrance than help. I also used it to approach a fishing spot on the shallows with little to no noise and splash. Plus, if I needed to backup the kayak into deeper water, this paddle is easy to pick up right at my feet. The material is also tough and does not flex much like my long paddle.
