It's so much nicer being able to grab an assortment of rigged rods right next to me rather than reaching around to grab from behind me and possibly losing sight of the fish im targeting.

I haven’t had the chance to put the trolling motor to use. So can’t give a solid review until then. So far it’s a lot sturdier than I expected. I would’ve added a sturdier mount than wood screws at the bow hinge connection. But we’ll see how much use I get out of it before it starts working itself loose.

I already owned the 16” model but to be honest, it was a but much for my 13X16 BlackPak Pro. I don’t keep a lot of gear in it so personally, I like this size better. Super simple installation, and quality components!

Great little tool for scoping smallmouth.
It is a good value for the money. Its lightweight and strong enough to span across my kayak to hold the fish hands free. However, with its bright color it is difficult to confirm that the fish is against the bump board.
