The NRS Chinook PFD is the number one selling life jacket for kayak anglers nationwide, providing a comfortable PFD for those long days on the water in your kayak. The Chinook has been around for years, and NRS continues to improve its design with anglers' best interests in mind. This PFD utilizes PlushFit foam for extreme comfort. Ventilation is a must during those hot summer days on the water, and mesh backing provides that. Each Chinook feels like a custom fit with its zippered front and six adjustment points on the sides and bottom of the life jacket. These adjustments provide comfort while fishing and ensure the PFD fits appropriately to keep you safe. Storage is a must for a kayak angler, making you more proficient. The Chinook features two large, zippered pockets on the front of the jacket that can store your go-to baits for easy access. These pockets also have an internal organization for small but necessary items. There are also two smaller pockets and a tool holster outside the more oversized pockets. NRS has strived to make an angler's life easy on the water. This new design only enhances what you have come to know and love about the NRS Chinook Fishing PFD!

Exactly what I needed at a great price. Perfect PFD for fishing, or if you want to keep some things close at hand while paddling. Mobility with this on is fantastic.

The most comfortable fishing pfd I've ever worn especially for being on the water for hours. The Chinook will from here on out be my go to pfd

NRS Chinook Fishing PFD

I'm using this for kayak fishing and crabbing in Puget Sound. It works great and is very unobtrusive...hardly know I have it on most of the time. I appreciate having the pockets; they are well positioned and a good size for holding my wallet, licenses and car keys as well as my most frequently used fishing items.

NRS Chinook Fishing PFD

Awesome, life jacket at an awesome price. I bought this specifically for kayak fishing but to double as an all around life jacket and it’s perfect for that. The pockets are well thought out and it’s not overly bulky. Sizing wise i bought the L/XL size and I am 5’9” 165-175 pounds athletic build and it fits great and has enough room for late season with layers as well as cinching down for a thin undershirt.

NRS Chinook Fishing PFD

My fishing frame stands in at 5'11", and weighs 155 lbs... and the XS/M fits me perfectly! For my preference, this full-size, but minimal PFD was exactly what I was hoping for. This is speaking as a high-chair yakker, too. The high back panel rides just right above my seat, so can't say enough how this checked all my boxes. Hope this helps you find your perfect fit for your fishin' frame!

Love the Chinook with all the pockets. Very comfortable PFD. I prefer it over my wife's Chinook OS because of the pocket sizes.

Great PFD! Already have the grey one and got the orange to be more visible on the kayak.
